Olivia Lane released the music video for her new single, “You Got Me” on August 24th. It was directed by Matt Delisi and produced by Loren Hughes.
The video portrays the relationship between Lane and her best friend who was recently broken up with. Lane takes him out for the night to cheer him up. As the night goes on, the connection between the two grows stronger and it leaves the viewer wondering if the two are just friends or if their relationship is growing into something more.
Olivia Lane released her much anticipated single, “You Got Me” on August 24th. Lane co-wrote the song with Nashville songwriter’s, Aaron Scherz and Tim Nichols.
“This song is about letting someone know you’re there for them. Sometimes life can get so crazy and I know for me personally it really helps hearing someone say ‘I’m here to listen and I may not know the answers but you’ve got me here for you.’ I think there’s real power in being present for another person,” states Lane.
